Mazda has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in the following model:
• 2007 - 2009 Mazda 3 and Mazda 5 models
Only a limited number of the vehicle models listed above are affected by this issue.

Your Mazda may be part of Mazda’s recall concerning their power steering system. The problem is a loss of power assist which reduces the driver’s ability to steer the vehicle as typically expected.
