Move Over To Help Save Live

Have you ever been driving down the street going about your daily business and see a worker or even an emergency vehicle pulled over on the side of the road? Not only is it polite to completely move out of the lane that's partially blocked, it's also the law. Currently, all 50 states have Move Over Laws, but not everyone knows this. According to a national poll by Mason Dixon Polling and Research, 71 percent of Americans have not heard of "Move Over" laws; which was sponsored by the National Safety Commission.

If moving over is not possible due to heavy traffic, or maybe cars in the lane next to you aren't reacting quick enough, then you should still slow down to 15 miles per hour in order to make it safer for people working on the side of the road. Remember to be kind, be courteous and to always stay alert!
